Privacy policy

Eco Safe Cleaning (“we”, “us”) is a family-owned cleaning business in Edmonton, Alberta. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Details you give us in a quote request, call, text or email: your name, phone number, email, postal code, address and information about your home or office.
• Notes you choose to share, such as pets, access instructions or preferred dates.
• Basic website usage data collected through cookies and analytics tools, including how you arrived at our site (for example, from a Google ad).

How we use it

• To prepare your estimate, schedule your cleaning and get into your home or office.
• To send invoices and receipts, and to contact you about your booking.
• To understand which pages and ads work, so we can improve our website and advertising.

We never sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our form delivery service, email provider, and Google Analytics and Google Ads. They may process data outside Canada and must protect it. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for analytics and to measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide our services and meet tax and legal requirements.

Terms of service

Estimates and pricing

We charge an hourly rate per cleaner with a 3-hour minimum per visit. Before each job we give you a written estimate. If the work will take longer than estimated, we check with you before continuing. Prices are before GST.

Payment

You receive an invoice after the clean. Payment is due on completion of the service.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or a locked-out visit may be charged.

24-hour re-clean promise

If we missed something, tell us within 24 hours and we'll come back to fix it at no charge. The re-clean covers the areas included in your booked service and is done at a time that works for both of us.

Access, pets and valuables

• Please make sure we can get in at the booked time, with a key, a code or someone at home.
• Tell us about pets and keep any pet that may be nervous around visitors in a separate room.
• Please put away cash, jewellery and fragile valuables before we arrive.

Safety

We may decline or stop work in conditions that are unsafe for our team, such as mould, biohazards or pests. We don’t move heavy furniture or work from tall ladders.

Damage

We carry $2 million in liability insurance. If something is damaged during a cleaning, please tell us within 24 hours, and we’ll work with you to make it right. We’re not responsible for wear or damage that existed before our visit.
